The Florida Blockchain Think Tank was established as a collaborative effort between Dr. Mark Jamison and Palveshey Tariq. It is an an independent organization located in Gainesville, Florida striving to serve and connect crypto and blockchain enthusiasts, nationwide. Members include Florida students, alumni, community members, and researchers from all educational and industrial backgrounds.

Palveshey currently serves as the CEO of Protonode Strategies, Inc. She graduated from UF in 2012 with Bachelors in Math, Linguistics, & Political Science. She is earning a Masters in Finance from Harvard University & pursuing a Ph.D. in Information Systems. She is one of the leading experts in blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies, in the Gainesville area.

Dr. Mark Jamison
Dr. Mark Jamison

Mark Jamison is a visiting scholar at the American Enterprise Institute, where he works on how technology affects the economy, & on telecommunications and Federal Communications Commission issues. He is concurrently the director & Gunter Professor of the Public Utility Research Center at the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business. Dr. Jamison has a Ph.D. in economics from the Warrington College of Business UF & a B.S. and an M.S. in agriculture from Kansas State University.
